PostSubject: Proper Home for a Dog.   May 1st 2009, 19:10

Eden had taken time out of her not so busy schedule to go to Beauregard Farm and see what Dougy was up to. and she really need to see if she could actually let Dougy purchase one of her puppies. Eden needed to see it was a proper home for the little guy, just in case.

Upon entering the farm she could tell it was a pretty nice environment. But she still wasn't so sure.
"Dougy?" She called. "Are you here?"

Dougy was at the same time opening the door of his farm. He stepped outside and heard someone said out loud his name.
- Yes ? I'm here !
He looked around to see who was calling him. He automatically recognized the blue-headed girl.
- Eden ! he said while walking toward her.

"Hey Dougy." Eden found herself smiling as he walked closer. "How are you doing today?" Her eyes continued to wonder the farm for any imperfections.

- I'm good, in you ? he asked.
He noticed she looked around a lot. He didn't knew why but he chased out this detail of his head.
- What bring you here that early in the morning ? Not that you bother or anything...

Eden looked back over at him. "I'm good. I'm just here to inspect your farm, so it's the proper place for one of my dogs." She blinked and continued to smile. "Because I would hate to sell you a dog if you incapable of taking care if it."

- Oh, I see...
He didn't think she would visit him only to see that. He saw that she was very attached to her animals.
- Well, you can't really find something not good for animals here ! he happily said. I already have a kennel...it's a bit old but good enough for him ! And I'm going to buy food, of course...

Eden looked up with him a frown on her face. "Can you show them to me?" She needed to see them to give her final thought.

- You talk about the kennel ? Alright, it's just here...
He moved toward his house. Next to it, a little kennel was standing up.
- It needs some paint, but after that it's perfect !

Eden walked over to the small kennel and knocked the top of it. "It seems sturdy enough for the rain." She crossed her arms and continued to examine it. "Your right, it does need a paint job."

- B...but I'm going to get right on it when I get the money ! he exclaimed with a grin. And even if it resist the rain, I don't think I'll let that poor puppy outdoor....I'll get him into my house.
He tried to make good impression and he hoped that she was ok to let a pet to his house.

Eden nodded. "That works as well." She looked toward the barn. "Do you have any animals?" Eden was only curious since when he came to her shop the other day he picked out the only sheep dog she had.

He look at his turn in the barn's direction.
- No, not yet. Well before, the fact that they wasn't any livestock shop owner was a bit problematic, but now that there's one....I just need the money for it ! he happily said with his hand behind his head.

"Oh..." Eden nodded. She knew a livestock seller had moved to town but she hadn't met them yet. "Can we check out the barn anyway?"

- Hmm...this doesn't have any link with dogs or cats ! he mischievously said. But well, I know my farm is like the main attraction here, so it's not that serious....
He turned around, couldn't get the smile out of his face, and he moved in direction of the barn. He calmly whistled while walking.

Eden followed. "Well if you don't keep an eye on him he might go in the barn. You never know."

He looked at her.
- Well, has a puppy it may be dangerous, but when he's going to be an adult, I don't think there's any problem....
Anyway, I'm going to keep him inside my barn....until he's adult.
He smiled and opened the barn's door, let Eden enter before him, and entered after her.
- Here it is !

Eden's eyes searched the room. It looked good at first glance. "This looks good to me." She shrugged but continued to look around the room.
