Time to relax

She smiled gently as she entered the new bar in town. She had been nerves since she moved to this new town and she was ready to relax. She smiled patiently and looked around the bar to make sure there was someone there to greet her. She didn't want to be a bother and call the woman from upstairs.

"Mm?" Ayumi woke herself from her thoughts as she noticed a young woman walk into the bar. She straightened her bonnet just a little; and smiled, tilting her head in curiousity of who the girl was.
"Oh, welcome to the bar! I'm Ayumi," She greeted instantly; always wanting a good first impression for her bar.

She smiled and bowed at the girl.
"I am Hincaru, it is my pleasure to meet you!" she smiled brightly.
"And welcome to our town." she added, her smile not wavering.

"Very nice to meet you, Hincaru! And thank you for the kind welcoming," Ayumi replied cheerfully; pleased that she'd met another nice person from the town.
"Oh, yes! Would you like anything to drink?" She asked; just so she wouldn't get too carried away with chatting when she knew she would have to do her job while doing so. She knew sometimes people would come to the bar just to relax, which she didn't mind at all. She enjoyed talking to those who came into the bar.

She took a seat at the bar and smiled.
"What do you recomend?" she asked, stil smileing.

"Mm...The apple juice. But that's mainly because it's my favorite. Earlier, I heard that the grape juice was refreshing as well though," She replied lightly; hoping her recomendation was good enough. She turned slightly; grabbing a glass from the shelf, just so she'd be prepared to mix Hincaru's drink when she ordered. Ayumi never liked making those who ordered a drink to wait very long for their beverage.

"I love apple juice!" she replied with a smile "May I have some?" she smirked happily.

"Of course you may!" Ayumi exclaimed, overjoyed. She took one of her prepared apples; which already had the stem and skin peeled off, and started to prepare Hincaru's drink.
"It'll be ready soon," She promised, turning her head slightly to Hincaru in the gist of her work before returning to tending the mixer.

She smiled brightly.
"It is really freshly made? That is wonderful!!" she said with a wide bright smile

"Teehee~ I'm glad you think so! I decided it was better then a premade juice with artificial flavors." Ayumi replied in delight as she continued to mix Hincaru's drink. Once it was finished; she poured it into a glass, and set it down on the counter in front of Hincaru, in hope that she'd like her drink.

Hincaru picked up the glass and drank some of it.
"It is the best apple juice I've ever had." she said with a wide smiled

Ayumi blushed; smiling. She was pleased with the comment; and glad, overall, that Hincaru liked it!
"Oh goodness. That's very kind...Thank you!" She started; bashful at the comment.

She smiled brightly.
"it is only the truth!" she finished her drink.

Ayumi smiled once more at Hincaru as she took her empty glass. She took a sponge from the sink, and started to clean the glass. She was turned towards Hincaru, so they could continue their chat, of course.
"Well, that's very kind. Is there anything you do in the town, Hincaru?" She asked in a light tone, still smiling brightly.

Hincaru smiled happily.
"I am a musician." she said in a happy voice.

Ayumi's eyes glittered in excitement, then she relized something from one of her other conversations.
"A musician! How wonderful! Then...You must be a friend of Birdie's, right?" She asked. She knew that Birdie said she'd play sometimes with a friend of hers-- and most likely, it was Hincaru.
"What kinds of music do you like?" She started, tilting her head in curiousity.

She smiled and tilted her head.
"I love all music really. And yes, I do know Birdie, she is a dear frined of mine. She lives across from me in the Inn. Have you had the chance to hear her sing yet? It is wonderful."

"Yes, I've heard her. And she's amazing at playing the harp as well," Ayumi agreed; closing her eyes and taking in a delighted breath. She opened her wide set of brown eyes; and blinked them twice.
"I look forward to hearing your music as well~"

"I can play you something now if you would like."
Hincaru never left the house without and instrument of some kind. It always helped to keep her calm. She pulled an ocarina out of her pocket and held it up with a bright smile.

"Oh yes, I'd be honored to hear you play!" Ayumi said with delight; clasping her hands together a little under her chin. She knew for sure that Hincaru would play very well.

Hincaru smiled and put the instrument to her lips. She began to play a familiar son from a video game she used to play called Legend of Zelda. The song sounded sad, but every note was perfect and right where they belonged.

Ayumi pressed her lips together; and closed her eyes as she listened to the soft harmony. The music sounded brilliant to her ears. She swayed slightly from side to side; lost in the music. Her skirts swished from right to left as she swayed, pleased with the music her new friend was playing.

It was a short song, only a minute and a half long, but it was one of her favorites. She smiled gently when she finished her song, and was pleased to see her friend enjoying it so much.

Once the music faded towards an end; Ayumi slowly opened her eyes, as if breaking out of a trance. Slowly, a warm and sicere smile formed on her face. She placed her hands together; very pleased as her gaze met Hincaru's.
"You're a wonderful musician," She commenting; feeling that words only, could not describe how beautiful that melody was.

she smiled sweetly.
"Thank you very much." she put the instrument away.
"I hope to make a living off of it."
